PPI (Payment Protection Insurance) policies were created to cover the cost of loan repayments in the event that you were off sick or became unemployed.  However it soon became clear that many of these policies were sold to people who could never get paid out.  Self employed, retired or people with health issues like bad backs or stress( two of the largest causes of PPI claims) were told they could not be paid out.  A high court judge recently paved the way for a wave of claims and with up to 30 million potential victims, its time to take action.
